Room Reservation
The Stan Getz Library offers reservations of spaces to accommodate group study, film screenings, individual laptop stations and a remote meeting space. The three rooms, Library Lab 1, Library Lab 2 and the Remote Meeting Room are located on the second floor of the Stan Getz Library.

Library Study Spaces
The Stan Getz Library has multiple spaces for studying individually or in groups. The Library Living Room and Reading Room are the main study areas offering tables and chairs, spaces for private study, scanners, computers, turntables with vinyls and CD players as well as the Library’s general collection.
Our Service
Class and Course Reserves
The Library supports class instruction with physical reserves and online resources. The physical books and scores are located at our circulation desk for check out to ensure access for all of the students in the class. The Library also provides access to eBooks, streaming audio and video resources, as well as specialized content, such as video tutorials and course guides.
Research Help and Library Instruction
A team of librarians support the Berklee community through teaching, consultation, and outreach. Reference and instruction services are offered in person, by appointment, and via Zoom or Google Hangouts for students and faculty. Our services include one-on-one research support, leading and designing instructional sessions, and creating online tools that support research and learning.
Equipment Circulation
The Stan Getz Library provides equipment available for check out. The equipment circulates for four hours except for CD and DVD players which can be checked out for up to a week. The available items are: phone and computer chargers, DVD/CD drives, headphones, portable battery packs and ethernet cables. See the Library’s main circulation desk for more information.
