Event Request Policies

The Berklee Library hosts events throughout the year at the Immersive Technology Lab (ITL), in Rm. 106, 150 Mass Ave. These events include internal, Library produced content as well as presentations organized by college partners. Events can include talks, panels, screenings, interviews and workshops. The Library event program has a thematic focus in the areas of:

  1. Technology, particularly music production and immersive experience.
  2. Musicology.
  3. Intellectual property and copyright.
  4. Faculty produced research and writing.
  5. Diversity, equity and inclusion.

Event proposals and class visits to the ITL can be made through our request form. Please be sure to review the guidelines below.

The Library will consider all submissions in the order they are received, with preference given to students and student groups in the reservation of event space. Our scheduled event times with staff support are Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. and Friday afternoons from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m.

The Library will only accept those event requests it can reasonably accommodate within the guidelines above.

Additionally, the Library has a room available for film screenings and Skype interviews on the second floor of the Library in the Learning Center. This space accommodates 22, and sign-up is first-come, first served via our reservation system.
