Interview with Lorne Balfe via Skype

Lorne Balfe, The Lego Batman Movie, Churchill, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, is a Grammy Award-winning, EMMY and BAFTA nominated film composer from Inverness, Scotland. Lorne’s recent film and TV credits include Churchill (Head Gear Films), The Lego Batman Movie (Warner Bros.), Marcella (Buccaneer Media); The Story of God with Morgan Freeman (Revelations Entertainment), Terminator Genisys (Paramount Pictures), and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (Paramount Pictures).
2010 saw the release of Lorne’s first major feature film, Megamind, which he co-composed with Hans Zimmer. One year later, he would begin to find footing in the video game world, composing alongside Jesper Kyd on Assassin's Creed: Revelations, (BAFTA nomination for Best Original Music). Since that time, his video game credits include Crysis 2, four titles in the Skylanders series (Spyro's Adventure, Giants, Swap Force, and Trap Team), Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Beyond: Two Souls.
